Yesterday's closing amount becomes today's opening balance; backdated entries update the following days.

A Numbered Receipt on Income
A manual income entry on the free cash book generates a numbered receipt, and that receipt can be printed. With the customer's email on the entry, they can open that receipt in My Purchases.
Add What You Missed
Add an entry you missed last week. The days after it follow, so today's opening amount still matches the drawer. Search the book any time. It stays backed up.
A Cash Book for Each Cash Point
Set up multiple cash points across your branches. Each cash point keeps its own daily book and balance; the Company Cash Book brings income and expenses across them into one organisation-wide view.
Cash Count
With Reporting, a cash count compares the cash in the till with the balance in the book. Record a shortage or a surplus before month-end.
Print the Day's Log
With Reporting, print the day's log for filing or for your accountant: income, expenses, transfers, and the count.
Cashbook and Full System Reports
With Reporting, print the Cashbook or the Full System report for the period you choose. The Cashbook shows income, the tax stored on each row, refunds, and expenses. The Full System report shows cash sales and repair jobs, with cost, profit, and margin.
